· Pay Rate: $26.40/hour on W2
· Employment Type: Temp to hire    
· Location: Worcester Massachusetts  
· Schedule: 2nd Shift - M-F - 2:00PM to 10:30PM

What a typical day as an Material Mover might look like: 

l Stage materials to weigh and dispense, buffer & media prep.
l MB21 and Kanban's to be moved to respective suite passthroughs within 72 hours of order placement or same day (Kanban).
l The material movers will not be responsible for movement of items beyond the pass throughs.
l Compliant with cGMP SOPs.
l Coordinate recycling of single use bags and waste from suite pass throughs.
l Material requests to suites.
l Return materials to warehouse with appropriate form (prepared by suite).
l Coordinate cold delivery of materials with specific BUs.
l Oversee and manage the neutral corridor, ensuring it is organized and free of obstructions.
l Escalate any items that remain in the neutral corridor for an extended period to the appropriate personnel.
l Coordinate the movement of materials into and out of the passthroughs to manufacturing suites.
l Support the movement of materials to glass wash and other relevant areas accessible from the neutral corridor.
l Maintain accurate records of all material movements and escalate discrepancies immediately.
l Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures while handling materials.
l Communicate effectively with warehouse and manufacturing teams to facilitate smooth operations.
l Collaborate with other team members to support overall manufacturing processes.
l Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
 
 This job might be an outstanding fit if you: 

l High school diploma or equivalent.
l Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
l Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
l Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
l Good communication skills to interact with various departments.
l Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
l Competencies:
l Accountability and proactive problem-solving skills.
l Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
l Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
