Pay Rate: $25-28/HR
Schedule: Mon-Thur 3PM-11PM and Fri 1PM-9PM
Duration: Temp to Hire

What's a typical day as a Mechanical Fitter/Welder? You'll be:
• Fabricating parts in a timely manner without constant supervision
• Operating tools of the trade such as plasma cutters, porta powers, track burners, and hand tools
• Utilizing your knowledge of welding techniques
• Reading blueprints and understanding AWS weld symbols
• Operating hand torches, rose buds, hand plasmas, and track torches
• Using your math skills, specifically in geometry
• Operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Performing physical tasks such as kneeling and climbing ladders
• Lifting up to 50 lbs

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have vocational school training or three years of experience in the field
• Possess knowledge of welding techniques and tools
• Are proficient in reading blueprints and understanding AWS weld symbols
• Have the ability to operate hand torches, rose buds, hand plasmas, and track torches
• Have good math skills, specifically in geometry
• Are able to operate forklifts and overhead cranes
• Can perform physical tasks such as kneeling and climbing ladders
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
