Job Overview:
Join our team to provide crucial on-site back-up coverage Therapeutic Medical Physics Services at the esteemed West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. You will perform quality assurance testing, calibration, and other essential procedures in support of the VA's Radiation Oncology Services.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Provide on-site back-up coverage for Therapeutic Medical Physics in the absence of the VAMC staff.
•    Conduct QA testing and calibration following patient treatments, and oversee physics and dosimetry aspects.
•    Ensure adherence to continuous quality improvement and report adverse events as needed.

Qualifications:
•    Board Certified: In Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics by the ABR.
•    Licensure: Valid Therapeutic Radiological Physicist license in any U.S. State or Territory.
•    Experience: 3 years in QA procedures; 2 years in an ACR-certified system, working with Varian Linear Accelerators, IGRT, eclipse treatment planning, and more.
•    Fluent in English with strong technical proficiency.

Work Hours:
•    Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
•    Post-treatment work may be required for calibrations.
