Material Handler/Equipment Operator — Kelly® (Joliet, IL)

To be considered for the equipment operator positon, you must have experience utilizing either one or all of the following: Reach Truck, Forklift, and Ellectric Pallet Jack (Valid certification preferred but not required)

Pay Rate: $19.50 / $20.50

What's a typical day as a Material Handler/Equipment Operator? You'll be:
  • Operating  reach truck, forklift, and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring all shipments are staged and loaded correctly.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse area, adhering to safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Assisting the Warehouse Manager by processing outbound cross-dock freight and verifying shipment accuracy.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have 1-2 years of reach truck, electric pallet jack, and forklift driving experience in a warehouse setting (minimum required); experience specifically with sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks is needed.
  • Are prepared to be tested on equipment to ensure your skill level meets standards.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED; warehousing certifications are a plus.
  • Are able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
