  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday / 7am to 4pm - Friday /7am to 1pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately read assembly drawings.
  • Follow assembly MSPs.
  • Assemble/solder microwave components and cables according to specifications.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, gauges, and soldering equipment such as but not limited to resistance tweezers, soldering irons, copper wire trimmers, etc.
  • Read and follow instructions on Job Travelers.
  • Solder various types of microwave cables and connectors.
  • Trouble shoot microwave cables demonstrating issues.
  • Rework microwave cable assemblies as required.
  • Train new employees to solder.
  • Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.
  • Follow all company standard protocols for lot tracking on assembly piece parts.
  • Follow all company standard protocols for time, job and efficiency tracking on advanced manufacturing software.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must have ISO 620 Certification.
  • 1-3 years of soldering experience
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Excellent vision and hand/eye coordination is a necessity.
  • Must be able to accurately use measuring tools.
  • Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Desired Qualifications:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent training in soldering.
  • Experience working with build to print assemblies in a production environment.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities.
