Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • Rotating days and nights on a weekly basis, so must be available for both day and night shift times.
  • 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am
  • Monday-Friday
  • $20.75/hr

What's a typical day as a Mill Operator Assistant? You'll be:
• Assisting the machine operator in the loading of coils onto the pay-off reel, ensuring efficient production flow.
• Operating jib cranes safely and effectively to support manufacturing processes.
• Setting up and tearing down exit end racking to maintain an organized workspace.
• Assisting the operator in stacking finished goods into proper packaging and ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Banding and wrapping finished goods in accordance with packaging specifications for safe transport.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma or GED and possess basic math skills.
• Are able to read and use measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Can read and comprehend Manufacturing Orders, quality check sheets, and part drawings.
• Have experience with CNC machine operation and jib crane operation (preferred).
• Bring maintenance experience (taking down and setting up equipment) and metal fabrication experience.
