Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (Kelly OCG), a managed solutions provider within Kelly Services, Inc., is seeking a Molecular Biologist for a long-term engagement with one of our global clients. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401K, paid holidays, vacation, and personal/sick time. Contract Molecular Biologist – Antibody Discovery (NGS/Cloning)

Long-Term Contract with J&J Innovative Medicine

Are you a hands-on molecular biologist passionate about antibody discovery and next-generation sequencing? Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a skilled Contractor – V-gene Recovery to support our antibody discovery team in Spring House, PA.

This is a long-term contract role, offering $45–$50/hr, and requires the use of your own equipment (BYOD – Bring Your Own Device).

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute RNA extraction, PCR, and molecular cloning (including sub-cloning and construct design)

  • Develop and refine NGS-based antibody sequence recovery from cultured B cells or hybridomas

  • Design and implement cloning strategies to advance antibody discovery pipelines

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support lead identification and optimization

  • Analyze experimental data and communicate results in a clear, actionable format

Qualifications:
  • MS or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field

  • Proven expertise in molecular cloning and construct design

  • Strong hands-on experience with NGS methodologies related to antibody recovery

  • Familiarity with NGS data analysis tools

  • Excellent collaboration, troubleshooting, and communication skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a research-driven environment
