MRO Inventory Associate – Ringwood, IL
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group KellyOCG , a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Inventory Associate for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Ringwood, IL. This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM
Pay: $23 hr. minimum
Duration: Long term
As an MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Inventory Associate placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following: Summary: The MRO Associate will assist the site MRO coordinator to receive, document spares and store them at the designated locations and other MRO spare parts management duties.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Review and organize the spares storage at site, will be involved in collecting the spares and organizing them for future planned work
- Use a computer and SAP to check on the site materials inventory and tally the same with the physical stock
- Participate in plant and maintenance meetings and provide update on the spares availability as needed
- Respond to plant calls on spare parts and other maintenance related items, will call and expedite supplies from vendors as needed for plant equipment and services
- Assist the MRO coordinator with materials audits
- Organize documents related to equipment, parts, spare parts for ease of retrieval and safe keeping
- Participate in the site safety initiatives as and when required
- Wear site recommended PPEs, will need to push carts with parts or equipment loaded on them, will need to lift, place, retrieve parts from shelves
- Will travel to Elk Grove Village at least twice a month (will be reimbursed for mileage)
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, parts and/or inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proficient in SAP
- Forklift experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, organizational and work coordination skills, and interpersonal skills are critical to role success
- Must exhibits professional behaviors and maintains high ethical standards.
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency green card process.
