Position Title: Operations Consultant – Cost Transformation 
Location: Mostly remote-Alpharetta preferably
Shift: 1st | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $70/hour
Employment Type: Project to end Oct 2026

Position Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking a results-driven Operations Consultant to join the Cost Transformation team within our Growth & Innovation group. This role will lead high-impact projects focused on cost reduction, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives supporting our Products and Healthcare Services segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute cost transformation initiatives across multiple departments including Operations, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Marketing.

  • Manage projects ranging from $250K to $5M, leading cross-functional teams of 2 to 10 members.

  • Support procurement and sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and operational improvements.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with financial objectives.

  • Provide technical and systems leadership to improve process efficiency and maintain critical systems.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

  • Coordinate plant trials, commercialization activities, and capital projects in line with regulatory and corporate standards.

  • Maintain data integrity across systems and contribute to strategic supply chain planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, operations, supply chain, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in operations or technical roles within FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects from scoping through post-launch.

  • Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, project management, and change management.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).

  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and navigate a global matrix organization.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

  • Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Access

  • Multilingual skills (Spanish, French, Chinese)

  • Knowledge of stage gate product development and design for manufacturing

  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
