Operations Support Specialist – Banking
Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Pay Rate: $22.50/hr
Assignment Duration: September 2 – November 30, 2025 (possibility of extension or permanent hire)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Onsite Requirement: Mondays & Tuesdays onsite (in November, 4 days onsite per week)

We're seeking an Operations Support Specialist – Banking for a key back-office position in a leading Canadian organization. This role gives you responsibility for supporting seamless, high-volume financial transactions in a collaborative and friendly team environment.
What you'll do:
- Review, process, and validate important banking transfer requests using internal systems and established protocols
- Manage and verify large volumes of financial transactions and client documentation—100% back-office, no customer calls required
- Accurately interpret, record, and update client and account information
- Meet deadlines and uphold the highest standards for data accuracy and compliance
- Participate actively in daily team meetings and share process improvement ideas
- Support successful audits and adhere to company and regulatory policies
- Work with internal partners to resolve issues and ensure business goals are met
Who you are:
- Experienced in banking, operations, or a finance-related environment (preferred)
- Skilled in business support, data, or analytical functions
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and accurate in your work
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented but also excel at teamwork
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of Money Market or Foreign Exchange products is an asset
- Effective communicator, with a collaborative and engaging approach
