Role Overview: This role serves as the primary point of contact for a major urban research and healthcare institution. You will manage high-volume communication and provide a professional, welcoming environment for all visitors and callers.

Location: Boston, MA 02215
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Regular Business Hours) | 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $22.14 per hour 

Essential Job Functions:

• Communication Management: Answer and route incoming calls for 1–9 lines and provide telephone directory assistance.

• Visitor Coordination: Greet, escort, and direct visitors while providing general information.

• Information Support: Take and relay accurate telephone messages and communicate clearly with a diverse population.

• System Operation: Utilize a multi-line telephone system to receive, transfer, and manage calls efficiently.

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in a high-volume receptionist or administrative role.

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to demonstrate patience and courtesy in a fast-paced environment.

• Clear and accurate verbal communication skills.
