Description

PCB Layout Engineer
Location: 100% Remote PST (for candidates in Hillsboro, OR schedule could be hybrid)
Contract Duration: Up to 18 months
Contract Type: W2 through Staffing Supplier
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

Pay Rate: $85/hr

 

Team:
• A fast-paced quantum computing hardware team with a large variety of projects requiring PCB designs.

What are the 5 essential and desirable skills/ experience required for the role?
• Strong PCB layout CAD skills.
• Strong signal integrity analysis skills using software such as SIwave, HFSS, or similar tools.
• Skill with Cadence Allegro for PCB layout and schematic generation.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of multilayer PCB design/layout, manufacture, and assembly.
• Ability to manage time between concurrent PCB projects.

What are the minimum educational qualifications required, including any specific professional training or certifications?
• Min: BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or related degree program with 10 years of established experience
• Prefer: MS in Electrical or related degree program with at least 5 years of experience

Will the worker require experience/knowledge of any specific IT Systems/Software?
• Strong experience with Cadence Allegro PCB layout and SIwave, HFSS, or similar signal integrity software.
• Experience generating PCB layout schematics and related documentation.
