Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Fulfillment Sorter is responsible for accurately sorting prescription orders based on carriers and shipping methods. This role involves the safe operation of equipment, proper handling of pallets in accordance with client specifications, and restocking packing supplies for the shipping team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
  • Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
  • Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
  • Accurately sort completed prescription orders by carrier and shipping method into designated shipping containers including Gaylord pallets, cages, and carrier-specific bags.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure completed orders meet client-specific packing requirements.
  • Replenish packing and shipping supplies in designated workstations.
  • Safely dispose of recyclable materials, including breaking down and compacting paper-based packaging.
  • Conduct end-of-shift sweeps of cold chain areas, shipping stations, and outbound staging zones to ensure all orders are prepared for timely carrier pick-up.
  • Always maintain a safe work environment. Reports any unsafe issues to the supervisor.
  • Focus on quality and accuracy as part of the company wide goal: Quality First
  • Display: Caring, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, and Trust (CHART).
  • Always maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with sanitation SOPs and general housekeeping standards; report any sanitation concerns to supervisor.
  • Participate in user training that is led by qualified staff members that will include but is not limited to: hands on the job training, safe practices, and Standard Operating
  • Procedures (SOP) training.
  • Said training courses are documented accordingly.
  • Work across various distribution and backend operation areas including receiving, shipping, returns, freezer, and refrigerated spaces.
  • Coordinate with inventory leadership for proper placement of product.
  • Communicate updates to management verbally and via email.
  • Operate transportation and pharmacy management software, ensuring all end-of-day processes are completed at the end of each shift.
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members as directed.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
