Our client is a leading industry manufacturer, offering innovative solutions and services across various sectors. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead our U.S. manufacturing facility, which encompasses production, a full-service machinery workshop, paint shop, assembly, warehousing, quality, and maintenance operations.
The Plant Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer commitments are met. This role requires a dynamic leader dedicated to driving operational excellence, improving on-time delivery, and revitalizing safety and culture across the facility. You'll collaborate closely with internal departments and international partners to optimize schedules, backlogs, and resource allocation, building a high-performing, adaptable organization.

Pay Rate: $140K or above based on experience
1st shift, 6am-3:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily plant operations, including production, workshop, paint shop, warehousing, quality, and maintenance, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely results.
- Provide hands-on leadership and collaborate actively with teams to resolve issues and set priorities.
- Coordinate production planning with U.S. and overseas facilities for optimal resource use and on-time delivery.
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce waste.
- Champion safety, quality, and compliance, ensuring adherence to OSHA, ISO 9001, EMS, and OHSAS standards.
- Build and motivate a skilled workforce, foster a positive culture, and promote company Core Values.
- Develop and execute operational strategies, manage budgets and capital planning, and align objectives with global business goals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years manufacturing leadership, including heavy machinery or workshop experience
- Track record of improving plant results: delivery, quality, safety, retention
- Skilled in building agile, high-performing teams and data-driven decision-making
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (MBA a plus)
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, ISO 9001, and OSHA compliance
- Strong technical aptitude with hands-on industrial equipment experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and prioritization skills
- Proficient in ERP systems, data analytics, and digital tools
- International team experience preferred
