Population Health Research Leader
Kelly Services is currently seeking a Population Health Research Leader for one of our top clients in Titusville, NJ.
- This role will involve leading research processes and driving operations excellence, supporting Population Health Research projects and initiatives, and managing multiple projects conducted with health care organizations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Collaborate closely with the Population Health Research Director on assigned projects, with responsibility for research project management and assigned deliverables, including budget management and invoicing, contracting processes, and obtaining needed approvals.
- Work on multiple projects.
- Projects vary in nature and can include: outcomes research projects involving analysis and reporting of quantitative and/or qualitative data; implementation of analytic dashboards or other internally-developed resources; scientific amplification of existing data/resources to new stakeholders and/or via new channels; and supporting implementation science projects.
- Responsible for monitoring project progress and managing project budgets against planned timelines, ensuring timely and accurate tracking, documentation, invoicing, and communication of project progress.
- Initiate corrective measures to address operational impacts as needed.
- Oversee research processes for assigned projects, including approval processes spanning research methodology, health care compliance, pricing, copy review, publication review, and pharmacovigilance i.e., ReCAP, Totality, CPC, CAC, JJAR, iMedical Knowledge, and JPUBS for assigned projects.
- Track and manage publications e.g., abstracts, posters, manuscripts, trade articles/white papers related to research studies.
- Provide regular updates on project status to project team and stakeholders.
- Ensure project and budget tracking reports are accurate and reflect the current project status.
- Maintain regulatory, legal, and healthcare compliance requirements for research and dissemination of scientific information within all applicable guidelines, internal SOPs, and processes;
- Ensure correct and timely reporting of adverse events and product quality complaints, if applicable.
- Proactively identify and address issues in a timely manner, escalating to the Population Health Director as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
- Graduate degree minimum of Master s degree required in Public Health, Population Health, Pharmacy, Health Services Research, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or a related field preferred.
- Health Communications or Healthcare Marketing experience is a plus.
- At least 3-5 years pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
- Specific experience in Oncology, Immunology, or Neuroscience is preferred.
- Experience with health services research and peer-reviewed publications.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing internal stakeholders are desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and competencies in proactive problem solving and decision making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
Additional
- Up to 40 hours per week Mon Fri , generally within business hours of 9a 5p EST.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to recognize key issues and establish priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must be fluent in the English language and have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
