Pay Rate: $22.00
Shift: 1st shift - M-F 7:30AM - 4:30PM with some OT (~30 min daily) as needed
What's a typical day as a Precision Assembler? You'll be:
- The Assembler will be responsible for working Safely and adhering to all safety protocols.
- The accurate assembly of vertical turbine pumps using various hand and power tools required.
- In addition, this position will support general shop functions including shipping, receiving, inventory management and shop maintenance in a warehouse environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reading and writing English
- Experience using tape measures and reading measurements accurately up to 1/16th of an inch
- 1+ year prior manufacturing or applied mechanical experience
- Capable of reading shop paperwork and managing inventory by numerical part numbers and locations
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to carry out precise instructions with an acute attention to detail.
- Work in a team environment
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to certify to operate a forklift
- Previous assembly of Vertical Turbine Pumps is a plus
- Forklift certification preferred
- Experience with precision measuring tools preferred
