Precision Assembler

Location: Upper Chichester, PA
Pay range: $22–$26/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
Note: This role includes two weeks of paid training in Texas or Baton Rouge.

Role Summary

The Precision Assembler is responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and repairing mechanical components and equipment. This role includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly during repair processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and committed to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble equipment and components per drawings, instructions, and work orders

  • Perform testing as required and troubleshoot assembly issues

  • Inspect parts using precision tools (micrometers, vernier calipers, CMM) and hand tools

  • Ensure all parts are clean and assemblies meet specifications

  • Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and procedure manuals

  • Document work and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors

  • Support on-time delivery and high-quality workmanship

  • Operate in a warehouse environment and handle components safely (lifting up to 50 lbs)

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of mechanical assembly experience

  • Workshop or general mechanic experience (rotating machines, mechanical devices)

  • Basic computer skills and aptitude for learning data entry systems

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work overtime/weekends as needed

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of automation controls and electrical components

  • Vocational or general education certificate
