The Precision Machine Operator (2nd shift) job might be an outstanding fit if you have all of these required qualifications:
- 6 or more years' experience working with at least 1 of the following types of machines: Diamond Point Turning (DPT), lathes, manual Bridgeport, and/or Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
- Ability to work 2nd shift: 12pm-8:30pm Monday-Friday
- Superior manual dexterity to handle fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing
- High School Diploma or GED
- US Citizen required due to contracts
What's a typical day as a 2nd shift Precision Machine Operator You'll be:
- Operating various machines to make precision cuts and measurements on production hardware
- Using shop math to calculate and adhere to dimensions and measurements
- Using problem solving skills
- Documenting data on travelers and in the electronic database system
