Kelly® Engineering has a great 8 week + project opportunity for a Predictive Maintenance Consultant with an industry leader in Pomona, CA. This position offers a payrate of $100-$150+ per hour based on experience (open to W2 or 1099) along with per diem if needed.
We are seeking a hands-on engineer to lead a predictive maintenance project focused on integrating sensor-based monitoring solutions into our CNC machining environment. This role involves evaluating and selecting sensor technologies, integrating them with HAAS CNC machines, and enabling real-time data analytics for vibration monitoring and equipment health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and compare at least three leading predictive maintenance sensor solutions (e.g., AWS Monitron and equivalents).
- Recommend and support the procurement of the most suitable solution.
- Integrate vibration sensors with HAAS CNC machines, focusing on components like the CT40 End Mill Holder.
- Configure and calibrate sensors to monitor machine health and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Support data collection, visualization, and analysis for predictive insights.
- Document integration processes and provide training or support as needed.
- Experience with CNC machinery, especially HAAS machines.
- Familiarity with vibration analysis and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Hands-on experience with sensor integration and industrial IoT systems.
- Knowledge of AWS Monitron or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
