Pressure Relief Valve Planner:
The Pressure Relief Valve Planner creates job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work. Requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
Responsibilities:
• Prepares job package and inputs plan into SAP (CMMS) indicating the required resources, materials, and services.
• Reviews and interpret test reports to effectively and safely plan each individual service
• Receives feedback in job plan accuracy and updates task list as needed
• Work with customers to efficiently plan service for relief devices.
• Identifies task activities necessary to execute job plan.
• Identifies materials/tools/equipment required to service relief devices.
• Identifies/solicits safety information and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks.
• Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy by ensuring all job packages include a procedure or the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the job package is released. Checks that all Maintenance Procedures include a hazard assessment.
• Serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, as needed.
• Creates, develops, changes, updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure Management of Change (MOC), as required.
• Contributes to the team effort and attends all safety meetings/training/audits as required.
• Maintains high quality in housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of work area, that may prevent possible slip, trips or falls.
• Be a backup for the Shop WAC as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, ect…)
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
• SAP experience
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, overtime as needed, nights, and weekends as required
• Valid US driver's license
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work on a computer/tablet
• Must be legally able to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship/support available)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimal 3 years work experience in pressure relief valve servicing
• Relief device shop planning
• Certified forklift operator/or able to obtain forklift certification
Physical Demands
Must be willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to a respirator.
• Perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Frequent/occasional lifting of material weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Work in tight or closed-in spaces.
• Climb stairs/ladders.
• Stand 50% of the time.
• Walk for extended periods of time.
• Work in an area of intense or continuous noise.
• Work in an area with hazardous materials.
