Description

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Preventative Maintenance Tech in Aurora, IL. Client is looking for experience with preventive maintenance on CNC machines. Candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of CNC machining, meet certain soft skill criteria, and have CNC mechanic training experience.
This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Pay info: $90 - 100k, depending on experience

Job Details

  • Conducting routine maintenance to prevent mechanical failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Identifying and resolving mechanical faults that may lead to major breakdowns.
  • Maintaining correct fluid levels on machines, checking pneumatic lines, oil and water lines, and steam lines.
  • Checking wear and tear on equipment parts, such as shaft alignment and belts.
  • Maintaining air and water temperatures, heating and ventilating systems, and boilers.
  • Replacing filters/hoses and changing oil and grease as needed.
 
Skills/Qualifications Required
  • Must have experience with preventive maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of manufacturing processes and enhancing productivity within the facility.
  • Must have a solid understanding of CNC machining, meet certain soft skill criteria, and have CNC mechanic training experience.
