American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support its Tax Department with a focus on transfer pricing planning and compliance. This 1-2 month role plays a critical part in maintaining the company's commitment to quality and corporate social responsibility. You will contribute to accurate income tax reporting and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
This is a hands-on role involving financial modeling, economic analysis, and cross-functional coordination with domestic and international affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain complex financial models in alignment with APA methodology and transfer pricing regulations

Gather, analyze, and validate internal and external data for use in economic models and tax documentation

Identify and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner

Conduct comparable company searches and contribute to contemporaneous documentation (I.R.C. Section 6662)

Respond to tax authority inquiries and support APA submissions and transfer pricing audits

Analyze model outputs, calculate transfer pricing adjustments, and recommend appropriate actions

Draft detailed reports and transfer pricing documentation for regulatory compliance

Collaborate with international affiliates and external advisors on transfer pricing matters

Stay informed on changes in statutory and regulatory environments affecting transfer pricing

Effectively communicate findings to influence business and compliance decisions

Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business (required)

Ongoing professional education in tax or regulatory fields is a plus
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, financial modeling, or tax compliance
Skills:
Strong understanding of I.R.C. Section 482 and APA methodologies
Advanced financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills
Ability to gather and analyze large datasets with precision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience collaborating across departments and with international teams
