Kelly Services is seeking a Privacy Office Administrator in Chicago, IL. You will coordinate and administer various responsibilities within the office, working with low and moderate risk issues and departments to ensure compliance with various federal and state regulations.

- $40.00 per hour
- Temporary position
- Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 WFH per week)
- Work with departments regarding process flows, updating on an annual basis (or obtaining certifications from managers that processes are current)
- Oversee monthly reports regarding status of updates. Oversee reports needed for presentations and contribute to preparation of annual report
- Ensure regulatory policies and procedures are updated regularly and reflected on corporate intranet as required
- Obtain annual signed certifications from all workforce members. Update training database as appropriate
- Coordinate any changes in departmental policies/procedures as a result of internal audit/compliance activities
- Track and report all complaints received, notifying Manager and Director of upcoming response deadlines
- Monitor disclosures made throughout the corporation, identifying any questionable practices. Produce report on regular basis for executives/board regarding types, volumes, areas involved
- Monitor receipt of confidential communication and restriction requests. Makes request determination and communicate to Access Control Area
- Oversee and monitor tracking database
- Cooperate fully with the Office of Civil Rights, other legal entities and Company offices in a compliance review or investigation
- Participate in the annual evergreening process to assist and subsidiaries with compliance for federal and state regulations
- Participate in day to day guidance with the corporation's regulatory requirements
- Identify and oversee regulator complaints (internal and external) and incidents. Work on corrective action plans and mitigation steps
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Legal AND 2-3 years experience in privacy office
- Knowledge of and experience interpreting federal and state laws
- Ability leading departmental or divisional projects
- Negotiation, analytical, facilitation, communication and presentation skills
- PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
- Conceptual understanding of technology systems and applications
- Experience with web design software application(s)
