Product Specialist | Raleigh, North Carolina
Full-time | Direct Hire | Hybrid
Kelly Engineering seeks a Product Specialist to join our client's automation and robotics team.
This role will focus on providing technical expertise, design support, and customer engagement to drive sales and implement solutions effectively.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in B2B market analysis and gather customer insights
- Maintain product documentation (product details, sales tools, design parameters, and performance guarantees)
- Assist in product communication for sales and marketing materials
- Quote and support standard and custom solutions for customers
- Conduct product training for internal teams and external stakeholders in the U.S.
- Manage product data in ERP and PLM systems and maintain pricing datasets
- Provide support to application engineers, designers, and sales teams
- Perform market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy
- Support quality assurance through root cause analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree in Engineering; Bachelor's preferred
- 1-2 years in product management, technical support, or sales, especially in automation (internship experience considered)
- Knowledge of material handling and industrial manufacturing environments
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
- Data analysis skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator, able to work cross-functionally and independently
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a customer-focused approach
