Job Title: Line Lead – Production Apprentice
Location: Goldmine Rd, Monroe, NC 28110
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shifts Available

Job Summary:
The Line Lead – Production Apprentice will provide assistance to operators on various pieces of equipment and prepare products for shipment to clients.
Essential Job Duties:

  • Ensure products are grouped, processed, and packaged correctly by checking job numbers, control numbers, quantities, and package contents, verifying all products match job ticket instructions, and maintaining high quality and accuracy of shipments.
  • Interpret job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements.
  • Assist machine operators with various tasks throughout the production process.
  • Examine finished products for defects, reporting any errors or defects to the operator, shift lead, or department manager.
  • Feed multiple pockets with covers, signatures, and sheets into machines for folding and inserting operations.
  • Remove, stack, and pack printed material in various stages of completion as it accumulates on delivery tables of machines.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure:
  • High School graduate or completion of GED preferred.
  • Up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as operational directives, procedures, and basic instructions.
