We are currently recruiting for a Production Control Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the transactional details of our shop floor activities. The candidate will have 1 - 3 years preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.Critical to the success of this position is the effect you bring to the bottom line of the company. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping attention to details and accuracy in the work you produce. You will work for the Production Scheduler while interacting with all departments in the company.

Essential Functions:

  • Create and maintain the daily production report
  • Responsible for steel inventory and maintaining the steel bundle report
  • Issuing cutting slips to the cutting department
  • Entering receivers into the ERP software for steel deliveries
  • Entering labor tickets for the cutting department
  • Assist with production labor ticket creation and entry
  • Updating monthly goals charts
  • Backup to the Production Scheduler
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • 1 - 3 years solid inventory experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment suggested
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of his work with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while working effectively in a team environment
  • Must be computer proficient – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and be able to learn our ERP software
