Now Hiring: Production Expediter – Print Manufacturing (A or B Shift)
Location: Rochester, NY

Schedule:

  • A Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • B Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $18.00–$19.00/hr (Based on Experience)

Are you experienced in fast-paced manufacturing environments and ready to take ownership of ensuring high-priority orders are completed on time? We're hiring a Production Expediter to support operations on A or B shift at a busy print manufacturing facility. In this critical role, you'll work closely with production leads and supervisors to make sure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs), rush, and overnight orders are completed and shipped as expected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with production leads and supervisors to ensure orders meet shipping deadlines
  • Coordinate with production control to track and prioritize rush or time-sensitive jobs
  • Monitor production line order and enforce proper job sequencing
  • Support cross-shift communication and alignment
  • Maintain quality standards and support resolution of rejected or off-spec products
  • Identify and escalate personnel or safety issues as needed
  • Remain flexible with scheduling needs, including mandatory overtime during peak seasons

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Print or bindery experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and reach for long periods
  • Able to work in a moderately loud production environment
  • Ability to identify quality issues and distinguish colors
