Production Operator

Location: Websterville, VT
Pay Rate: $22.60/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, some Saturdays
Shifts Available:

  • Mon–Fri, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM

  • Sun–Thu, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
    Training Schedule: First week, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for performing repetitive machine or process operations following established procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, and the capability to make basic adjustments to equipment or processes as needed. The role involves recording production numbers, maintaining safety standards, and supporting efficient daily production operations within a clean room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to: packer, palletizer, forklift, mixer, pellet mill, and other assigned machines.

  • Follow standard operating procedures and written instructions consistently.

  • Perform routine machine adjustments and ensure proper functioning of equipment.

  • Record, track, and report accurate production numbers.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with all safety guidelines.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in both one-on-one and group settings.

  • Stand for the full duration of the shift (required).

  • Participate in required overtime as needed.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of accuracy, observation, and attention to detail.

  • Basic math skills for production counting and documentation.

  • Flexibility and reliability with excellent punctuality.

  • Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information clearly.

  • Comfortable working in a clean room environment with PPE.

  • Must remove all jewelry, nail accessories, and body piercings prior to work.

  • Steel-toed shoes required (rubber shoes/PPE provided as needed).
