Payrate: $17.50 per hour  Schedule: Monday to Friday;  2nd shift – 3:30 pm to 12 am (2 am if overtime required) Why you should apply to be a Production Operator:

What's a typical day as Production Operator? You'll be:

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently, and training new/existing operators
• Inspecting products for defects, monitoring quality, and carrying out measurements and weight checks
• Assembling products with a focus on quality and safety, following all work instructions
• Practicing Lean Manufacturing Techniques, including 5S+1, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicating with other team members and leadership to ensure timely production and quality standards
• Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with material and equipment setup
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and production data, performing housekeeping duties, and following all safety procedures

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have basic reading and writing skills and are proficient in reading/interpreting instructions
• Can add and subtract fractions and whole numbers, convert fractions to decimals, and read a tape measure
• Work well as part of a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate high attention to detail, dexterity, and can work with little supervision
• Are able to lift up to 80 lbs., stand for long periods, and are comfortable with frequent bending, twisting, and stooping
• Can work safely in a mildly controlled, sometimes dusty or temperature-variable environment
