? Location: Melrose Park, IL
? Pay Rate: $25.75/hour ($24 base + $1.75 shift differential)
? Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM
? Employment Type: Temp to Hire (6 months; possible absorption at 3 months)
? Work Setup: Onsite, high-quality GMP manufacturing environment

?? What's a typical day as a Production Technician I? You will:

  • Set up and operate all aseptic filling equipment for vials, including component preparation, filling line machinery, lyophilization systems, and tray-off conveyors.
  • Perform regular housekeeping and cleaning of the manufacturing area (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure a sterile, GMP-compliant environment.
  • Restock supplies and gowning materials in production areas as needed.
  • Operate component washers, sterilizers, vial washers, depyrogenation tunnels, isolators, capping machines, lyophilization systems, and tray-off turntables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve alarms and equipment issues independently before escalating to maintenance or supervisors.
  • Participate in additional tasks and projects as directed by your Supervisor or Group Leader.
? This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Hands-on mechanical skills and basic tool use (wrenches, Allen keys, screwdrivers).
  • Mechanical aptitude—whether from professional, hobby, or home project experience.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use HMIs or log in for digital training.
  • Entry-level: No prior manufacturing experience required, but manufacturing or technical, hands-on experience strongly preferred.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom or aseptic environment and follow strict protocols.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand for extended periods, perform repeated cleaning tasks, use tools, and follow gowning/sterile procedures.
