Position:  Project Manager
Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm EST
Location:  1 River Road, Schenectady NY 12345

Job Summary:
Essential Responsibilities :
As the Project Manager, you will; Support several teams from the identification of a project to it's execution and ultimate close. Examples of activities include but are not limited to tracking fleet issues with a focus on Pitch Bearings, managing monthly inspections, and coordinating drone or ground-based photo teams in the field. Project Managers also support problem solving issues to ensure that teams in the field are able to execute safely, with quality, and as efficiently as possible. GE Vernova is responsible for thousands of turbines globally and you will be helping make sure that they are producing as much renewable electricity as possible on any given day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•            Support project execution from Engineering Disposition through Return to Service and to job closure including invoicing, quality reporting, and debriefing
•            Ensure all necessary planning tasks are completed prior to field mobilization including Purchase Orders, Service Request Approval, and Tooling orders
•            Focus on delivery of all KPI's to the business including speed to invoice, standby and backlog reduction, and margin optimization.
•            Maintain Pitch Bearing tracker requiring input from Engineering team and the Field Services team
•            Energetic self-starter with a desire to learn with a focus on continuous improvement
•            Clear communicator who can expand their network across a matrixed organization
•            Work with execution leaders at sites to insure on time and quality execution
•            Support cross functional teams to ensure all aspects of the job are prepared for success.
•            Support Schedulers to ensure that dates and sequence of jobs are accurate. Notify relevant teams of schedule changes.
•            Create and support Plans of the Day to ensure that updates on field execution are available to the business.
•            Partner with leaders of each revenue stream and finance to ensure transparency of delivery and when necessary, invoicing of all necessary costs.

Desired Characteristics:
•            Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR associate degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum 7 years of experience in an operational / execution role OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an operational / execution role)
•            Energetic self-starter with a desire to learn with a focus on continuous improvement
•            Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational / execution role
•            Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required
