Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Location: Sanford, NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours, first shift, flexible on start time
Employment Type: Contract 3 months- possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour depending on experience

Position Summary:
A leading manufacturing facility is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Assurance Inspector to support daily operations through in-process and final product inspections. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet established specifications and quality standards before release. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, familiarity with GMP guidelines, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine in-process, line clearance, and final inspections of products and components.

  • Verify that materials, packaging, labeling, and finished goods conform to specifications.

  • Document inspection results accurately using inspection reports and quality records.

  • Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations found during inspections.

  • Ensure all work areas comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company quality standards.

  • Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions.

  • Support batch record reviews by providing inspection documentation when needed.

  • Assist with quality audits by preparing relevant records and supporting documentation.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to quality inspection processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training is a plus.

  • 1–3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or regulated environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and basic quality documentation practices.

  • Strong observational, documentation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures precisely.
