QC Technician Aerospace Environment

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QC Technician to join our FAA-certified Repair Station team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and assembling mechanical and electrical components in compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs in accordance with guidelines.
- Evaluate incoming parts data, drawings, or other authorized documentation.
- Conduct major and minor assembly, disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and repair of components and accessories.
- Replace defective parts or fabricate and install replacement components per specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to handle and install delicate or high-value components.
- Interpret and apply blueprints, component maintenance manuals (CMMs), and other maintenance documentation.
- Perform calibration and certification services as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and certifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, repair, or maintenance environment.
- Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Basic soldering experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with basic computer and math skills.
