Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate for a direct hire opportunity with a leading specialty pharmaceutical company at their R&D center in Davis, CA. Position Title: Quality Assurance Associate
Position Type: Direct hire
Pay rate: $25/ hour.
As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will be pivotal in maintaining and elevating our client's quality standards. You will ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and regulatory benchmarks, protect product quality, and champion ongoing improvement initiatives. Engage with our Quality Management Systems, oversee critical documentation, manage training programs, and uphold our quality goals with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee training management, including on-the-job training, induction sessions, SOP preparations, and documentation.
  • Manage issuance and preparation of laboratory notebooks, templates, and validation protocols.
  • Review analytical documents for raw materials, in-process quality, finished products, and more.
  • Maintain and control document issuance, destruction, and retrieval systems.
  • Log and oversee incident reports, OOS, change control, CAPA, and risk assessments.
  • Manage and review lab instruments qualification documents.
  • Trend Quality Management Systems documents per SOP standards.
  • Conduct document audits for vendor and laboratory qualifications.
  • Follow cGMP, GLP, and workplace discipline.
  • Undertake tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a regulated industry.
  • Solid understanding of cGMP, GLP, ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience managing Quality Management Systems and regulatory audits.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently and in team settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QMS software tools.
Requirements:
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Reside or relocate to the Sacramento Metropolitan Region (approx. 40 miles' radius).
