Pay Range:  $20 - $24 per hour depending upon experience

What's a typical day as a Quality Assurance Inspector? You'll be:
  • Inspecting Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) in various stages of production
  • Deciphering between acceptable and nonconforming material based on customer and national specifications
  • Using visual optical inspection aids such as a microscope and ring light
  • Comprehending customer prints, Bill of Materials, specifications, and work instructions
  • Verifying all components for placement, polarity, lead prep, part marking, damage, etc.
  • Inspecting all solder terminations in regards to alloy, wetting, and volume
  • Measuring dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments
  • Recording all inspection results and defining any nonconforming issues
  • Notifying supervisors of nonconforming issues and assisting in identifying and correcting issues
  • Discussing inspection results with those responsible for products and recommending necessary corrective actions
  • Complying with all ESD procedures
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Have 2-3 years of experience as a QA PCBA inspector
  • Have IPC-A-610 certification history
  • Are detail-oriented and have excellent visual inspection skills
  • Have the ability to comprehend technical documents and specifications
  • Have experience using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, multimeters, or micrometers
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Are willing and able to work overtime as required
  • Are able to train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd shift
