Now Hiring: Quality Inspectors – 2nd and 3rd Shift | Start ASAP

Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience
Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift (B Shift): Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift (C Shift): Sunday–Thursday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Are you detail-oriented and experienced in quality control or inspection? Join a precision-driven manufacturing team where your skills make a direct impact on product quality. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering consistent hours, weekly pay, and potential for advancement.

What You'll Do:

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections on materials and finished parts
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Review technical drawings and follow GD&T specs to ensure accuracy
• Complete in-process, first-piece, and final inspections
• Maintain accurate records of inspection data
• Verify calibration and condition of inspection equipment
• Collaborate with team members and assist with quality-related projects

What We're Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing QC role
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and basic GD&T
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools
• CMM knowledge (Zeiss or Sheffield) is a bonus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation habits
• Able to communicate clearly and work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Good close-up vision and ability to detect visual defects
• Comfortable working in both quiet and active shop areas
