Quality Control Production Associate
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Production Associate I for a full-time, direct-hire position at a leading pharmaceutical company in Gilroy, CA. Overview
Our client is an industry-leading pharmaceutical company focused on the production and quality control of drug products. They are dedicated to maintaining high standards in both their production processes and product quality.
In this role, you will operate radiosynthesizers for the production of drug products and analytical equipment for the quality control of those products. This role will give you the opportunity to engage in both production and quality control processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
 
Details
Pay: $30 - $32/hr Depending on experience
Location: On-site in Gilroy, CA
Schedule: Mon-Fri 1am - 9am with 1 Saturday every 3 weeks
Duration: Direct-Hire (Permanent Position)
 
 
Responsibilities

  • Perform FDG and NaF synthesis according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Ensure all materials/reagents are accepted according to SOPs and within expiry.
    • Ensure all equipment is qualified prior to use.
    • Operate the synthesis unit according to SOPs.
    • Learn the basic operational principles and assist in routine maintenance of the synthesis unit.
  • Perform FDG and NaF quality control (QC) processes according to SOPs.
    • Assist with basic maintenance of QC equipment.
    • Ensure all QC equipment is calibrated and qualified prior to use.
    • Operate QC equipment according to SOPs.
    • Complete applicable cGMP documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management.
    • Maintain production/QC/cleaning supply levels as appropriate.
    • Assist with inventory reporting.
    • Perform material acceptance according to SOPs.
  • Communicate with local and network support resources to troubleshoot production or QC issues.
  • Perform basic computer-controlled cyclotron operations for FDG and NaF production under advisement.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform radiation safety duties according to corporate radiation compliance programs and site licensing requirements.
  • Maintain qualification and validation requirements for entering ISO classified areas.
  • Clean classified and non-classified areas according to SOPs.
  • Perform environmental monitoring of classified areas.
  • Report manufacturing metrics into data repositories as required.
  • Complete cGMP documents and assist with Quality Assurance tasks, including investigations, corrective and preventative actions, deviations, out of specifications, and logbooks.
  • Attend internal meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences preferred.
  • Technical experience with computer-controlled automation preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
  • Ability to work various shifts and weekends.
  • Detail-oriented, accountable, patient, organized, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Professional communication skills with colleagues and customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with dependability and responsibility in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Up to 5% travel required.
