Kelly® Engineering is seeking a Quality Engineer (Equipment Deviation Investigation) for an excellent 1 year project with a growing pharmaceutical company in Parsippany, NJ. This position offers a full benefits package through Kelly, growth potential and a positive team environment.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in investigating and resolving deviations related to manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality systems.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into equipment deviations, including equipment malfunctions, calibration issues and other deviations impacting manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify root causes of deviations and assess their impact on product quality and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare detailed deviation investigation reports, documenting the findings, root cause and proposed CAPA
  • Ensure that deviation investigations and corrective actions align with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and other applicable regulations
  • Work closely with relevant departments to ensure timely and successful implementation of CAPA plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deviation investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Quality Engineer Requirements:
  • Experience in QA/QC related to deviation investigation within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of deviations.
  • Proficiency with Trackwise highly desired
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing comprehensive reports and interacting with cross-functional teams
