Description

Quality Engineer – QMS (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)

 

  • Location: Deland, Florida – 100% ONSITE ROLE
  • Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
  • Duration: Estimated to end - 3/31/2026 ( Contract extension potential)
  • Pay Rate – Negotiable depending on DIRECT-related experience

 

Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, (current rev) to aid in maintaining QMS
  • Knowledge of customer quality inquires, investigate and perform root-cause analysis on customer issues and effectively resolve them (CAPA) (8D)
  • Continuous Improvement Activities, Lean Manufacturing Principles, 5S, Kaizen
  • Manage and perform Internal QMS Audits
  • Material Review Board Quality Representative
  • Perform data collection & analysis; SPC and DOE analysis
  • Measurement system analysis (MSA) and Gauge R&R

 

Requirements:
  • B.S degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Prefer 5 years' experience in Quality Engineering
  • Technical QMS knowledge – Certified Quality Engineer or other ASQ Quality Certification preferred or Automotive QMS experience preferred (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP software
  • Exceptional communication skills, Ability to interact with all areas, Team player
