About the Opportunity:
Kelly Services is recruiting for a Quality Inspector on behalf of our client. If you're detail-oriented and passionate about quality, this role puts you at the heart of ensuring top standards. You'll inspect materials and processes, maintain quality records, and contribute to continuous improvement programs in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled quality inspections for customer products
- Complete and record daily process audits
- Maintain accurate records in Excel and organize product photos
- Train to become a quality system auditor and conduct audits based on ISO9001 standards
- Use SAP and follow up-to-date work instructions for quality tasks
- Support training of quality and other staff
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action programs
- Cross train in auditor functions across locations
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Proficiency in inspection techniques and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to report and communicate inspection results
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours
- Bend, pull, push, lift up to 50 lbs, and traverse stairs
- Stand/walk for long shifts (up to 12 hours)
- Operate pallet jacks and move materials
- Work effectively in a manufacturing environment
- Monday through Friday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
- Weekend (Friday through Sunday): 7:00am – 7:30pm
- Adhere to company policies on information security and confidentiality
- Report any security risks or incidents promptly
- Handle personal and company data confidentially
