Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Technician I to support our manufacturing and customer-related processes. In this role, you will ensure excellence by performing precise visual and dimensional inspections on raw materials and finished products while maintaining meticulous documentation.


- Location: Garden Grove, CA 92841
- Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 1st shift: 8 am to 4:30 pm (30 min break)
- Pay rate: 20$ -23$ per hour
Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 3-month duration (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection: Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections (visual and dimensional) using handheld gauges and precision equipment.

• Technical Analysis: Read and interpret complex blueprint drawings, customer specifications, and vendor documentation.

• Documentation: Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), write Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and manage certification packages.

• Quality Support: Assist with product audits, calibrations, customer source inspections, and raw material testing in the lab.

• Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, safe environment following 5S principles and site safety policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience: 2+ years in a Quality or Production role AND 2+ years in a regulated industry (Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical Device).

• Technical Proficiency: Expert use of handheld gauges, familiarity with sampling plans, and basic MS Office (Word/Excel) skills.

• Communication: Ability to translate and communicate technical customer requirements clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Physical/Vision: Must pass a vision exam (for reading instruments) and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Attributes: Strong work ethic, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work overtime.
