Reliability Engineer (Marietta, Ohio) 
Our client, a science company that specializes in solutions in valve technology and pipeline systems, is currently hiring a Reliability Engineer. The right candidate, we are looking for expertise in reliability engineering, process piping, maintenance, and continuous improvement, 3-5 years, a Process Piping Engineer, Maintenance Reliability Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Mechanical Integrity Engineer, Asset Management Engineer, Inspection Engineer, or Fixed Equipment Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer would be a good fit.

Job Description:
Reliability Engineer (Process Piping / Maintenance / Continuous Improvement)
Marietta, OH - Contract to Hire - 3 to 5 Years +  ($35/hr. to $50/hr.)
Provide support to the Marietta facility to assure targeted reliability performance of processing assets, including process piping and related systems, via a systematic process of data collection, failure analysis, and project implementation.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the effectiveness of the fixed equipment inspection programs, with a focus on compliance with ASME B31.3, API 570, and API 510 standards.
Collaborate with Operations & Maintenance groups to schedule and complete inspection activities, specifically for process piping, and oversee the inspection efforts.
Direct and complete analyses of equipment failures, including process piping, using problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
Effectively document and communicate the findings of failure analyses, particularly concerning process piping, to drive improved sustainability.
Lead and participate in project design, specification, and commissioning to deliver targeted reliability and maintainability of new and modified assets, focusing on life-cycle costs and adherence to piping codes.
Provide technical support to maintenance during troubleshooting and repair of equipment, systems, and process piping.
Develop, document, evaluate, and maintain facility and equipment maintenance strategies, including those tailored for process piping systems.
Participate with cross-functional groups in incident investigations related to process piping incidents and completion of corrective actions.
Complete Management of Change documentation and associated action items, with a focus on process piping modifications and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (physics and math skills are important). 
Reliability Engineering: Expertise in improving the reliability and performance of processing assets, including systematic processes for data collection and failure analysis.
Standards Compliance: Proficiency in ASME B31.3, API 570, and API 510 standards for piping and equipment inspection and maintenance.
Continuous Improvement: Experience leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance.
Root Cause Analysis: Strong skills in problem-solving and root cause analysis to address equipment failures and process issues.

Contract to Hire - 3 to 5 Years plus is the right amount of experience.
$35/hr. to $50/hr. flexible).
