Research & Innovation Chemist
Location: Bristol, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift
Kelly is seeking a Research & Innovation Chemist to support a client's expansion into new growth areas through breakthrough innovation in sustainable chemistry. This role focuses on developing new products, applications, and processes, with an emphasis on agrochemical and biodegradable formulations at the client's Bristol, PA facility.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on scientist with a strong interest in chemistry, materials science, physical chemistry, and chemical engineering, and is eager to contribute to early-stage experimentation and product development.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform standard laboratory experiments and analyze experimental results.

Support the development of innovative formulations to improve the bioefficacy of pesticide products, including biodegradable solutions.

Test and evaluate formulation efficacy, stability, and physical characteristics.

Assist in the design, execution, and evaluation of laboratory and field trials.

Create and maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and technical documentation.

Collect, analyze, and present experimental data to project teams and senior scientists.

Conduct literature reviews and patent searches related to agrochemical ingredients and formulations.

Collaborate effectively with scientists, project teams, and internal stakeholders to support project objectives.

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Microbiology, Materials Science, Plant Science, or a related discipline.

1–2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Hands-on laboratory experience in analytical chemistry, organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, or formulation development.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, JMP, Minitab).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and timelines.

Experience with agrochemical or agricultural formulations is a plus.

Demonstrated curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and enthusiasm for experimentation.
