Description
Kelly Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sample Cutter to support pre-production garment operations for a global fashion brand. This is a temp-to-hire role, with benefits available upon conversion to a permanent position.
Full time, Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with overtime as required
Pay: $24/hour
Location: Pasadena CA 91107
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret cutting instructions, 1st and production patterns, or technical specs
- Accurately measure, align, mark, and cut fabric using rulers, templates, and measuring tools
- Inspect fabric for flaws and mark accordingly before cutting
- Label and bundle cut pieces for production
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and cutting equipment
- Track fabric usage and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of fabric cutting experience in apparel or textile production preferred
- Ability to read patterns and work orders with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with various fabrics and manual cutting tools
- Able to lift up to 35lbs and stand for extended periods
- High speed and accuracy required
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced production setting
- Standing, bending, and repetitive motions daily in facility shop
