Job Title: Scissor Lift Operator – Temporary Warehouse Labelling Project
Location: Melrose Park, IL
Employment Type: Temporary (6–8 weeks project) Position Overview:
We are seeking a Scissor Lift Operator for a temporary warehouse labeling project in Melrose Park, IL. This 6–8 week project involves placing labels and barcodes on warehouse racks in both cold storage and dry goods storage environments at various heights. The role requires weekend work, attention to detail, and strict safety practices. Responsibilities:

  • Operate a scissor lift to reach and label elevated warehouse racks in both cold storage and dry goods storage areas.
  • Accurately apply labels and barcodes per project requirements.
  • Conduct safety checks and light equipment maintenance.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the project team to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Scissor lift experience required; certification required (or must be willing to obtain).
  • Comfortable working at heights, in cold storage, and dry goods storage environments for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long hours.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
Pay & Schedule:
  • Temporary position (6–8 weeks).
  • Pay: $27–$30 per hour, depending on shift.
  • Weekend shifts required.
