We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Selector to join our team in Charlotte, NC (28216). In this active, warehouse-based role, you will be responsible for selecting and palletizing orders using equipment like an electric pallet jack or forklift. Job Details:

• Position: Selector

• Location: Charlotte, North Carolina 28216

• Employment Type: 60–90 day contract (Temp-to-Hire opportunity)

• Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Worksite: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Order Selection & Material Handling

• Operate an electric pallet jack, forklift, or reach truck to pick and move products

• Use RF scanner/label technology to identify and label product correctly

• Build accurate and secure pallets according to customer order requirements

• Deliver completed pallets to designated dock locations

• Perform pre/post-trip inspections of all assigned equipment

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow proper procedures for stacking and wrapping pallets

• Assist with inventory control and re-racking projects as needed

• Lift and handle items weighing 40–60 lbs. unassisted

• Work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment

Qualifications:

Education:

• No high school diploma or GED required

Experience:

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred

• Prior experience using RF scanners

Skills:

• Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

• Experience operating an electric pallet jack, order picker, or forklift

• Basic inventory management knowledge

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills

• Teamwork-oriented with a “win together” attitude

• Able to work at a consistent pace and meet productivity standards

Additional Information:

• Training: Provided (ongoing)

• Interview: In-person, 1 round with 1–2 interviewers

• Overtime/Weekends: May be required depending on workload

• Physical Requirements: Must lift 40–60 lbs. regularly
