We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Selector to join our team in Knoxville, TN (37701).
In this physically demanding, warehouse-based role, you will be responsible for safely selecting and palletizing customer orders using electric pallet jacks and warehouse software systems. Job Details:
  • Position: Selector

  • Location: Knoxville, Tennessee 37701

  • Employment Type: 3-month contract (Temp-to-Hire opportunity)

  • Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

  • Schedule:

  • Sunday: 5:00 PM – Until Complete

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 PM – Until Complete

  • Approx. 45–48 hours per week, with some overtime and occasional Friday shifts

  • Worksite: Onsite

  • Shift: Shift 3 (Night)

    Key Responsibilities: Order Selection & Material Handling
  • Safely and accurately select customer orders per warehouse software

  • Operate electric pallet jacks to pick and move products

  • Validate correct and damage-free items for each order

  • Build and shrink-wrap pallets based on customer order requirements

  • Transport completed pallets to assigned dock areas

  • Perform equipment pre-checks before each shift

Warehouse Operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of aisles and work areas

  • Clear debris and return pallet jacks to charging area

  • Stack and store empty pallets from slot areas

  • Participate in safety procedures and work collaboratively with team

  • Operate in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5°F to 100+°F

  • Repetitively lift/carry/push/pull 20–80+ lbs. over the course of each shift (1,000+ cases per shift)

Qualifications:

Education:

  • No high school diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • No minimum years of experience required

  • Physically demanding work experience preferred (e.g., warehouse, construction, fitness, farming)

  • Motorized pallet jack or warehouse equipment experience preferred

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written) for training and safety

  • Ability to work night shifts and perform under physically demanding conditions

  • Must be punctual, coachable, and have a strong work ethic

  • Training Provided: 2 weeks paid, hands-on training with gradual ramp-up into duties
