Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Senior QC Lab Technician near West Chester, OH.

Contract (~6 months)
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation: $26/hr 

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting various testing activities, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting lab investigations. This role is crucial for ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and adhere to regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing on samples, including finished products, raw materials, stability, in-process, and water samples.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support laboratory investigations and update QC methods and SOPs.
  • Execute laboratory test protocols to aid development and validation activities.
  • Conduct QC data reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Propose and follow up on ideas for continuous process improvements.
  • Responsively accept direction and constructive feedback during training and analysis.
  • Contribute actively to team activities and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Operate independently, complete assigned tasks, and self-assign tasks where appropriate.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely and responsibly.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with strong organizational skills.
  • Adapt quickly to new priorities and situations.
  • Operate equipment in various environments, including up to Class 100 aseptic settings.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members, operations, and QA groups.
  • Perform environmental monitoring tasks autonomously to support regulatory compliance for sterile manufacturing.
Minimum Requirements
  • Working knowledge of cGXP requirements and a strong familiarity with production operations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in math, laboratory, and computer skills, with an understanding of basic statistics and quality control terminology.
Preferred Background
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
  • Quality Control chemistry laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Working knowledge of laboratory equipment, including HPLC, operations, and safety.
