Location: Taunton, MA
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: 120-140K, Annual Bonus
Schedule: 8am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Safety Manager to lead and drive our company's health, safety, and risk mitigation strategies. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that ensure a clean, safe, and compliant workplace—protecting our people, operations, and reputation. This role partners across multiple divisions including distribution and transportation and is critical in fostering a proactive safety culture. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead companywide safety programs to reduce risk and control cost.

  • Develop and manage accident prevention programs across all operational divisions.

  • Ensure OSHA compliance and implement robust safety management systems (including PSM, LOTO, HAZCOM, PIT).

  • Conduct biannual safety skill-building workshops and training sessions.

  • Supervise safety performance of operational managers; promote accountability.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report safety performance metrics to leadership.

  • Collaborate with emergency services and regulatory bodies for readiness and compliance.

  • Educate and engage employees on safety best practices and hazard recognition.

  • Develop and deliver safety training for commercial vehicle drivers; ensure DOT compliance.

  • Lead investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions.

  • Administer drug and alcohol testing programs for Massachusetts-based CDL drivers.

  • Launch and manage a Safe Driving Awards Program to reinforce positive behaviors.

  • Maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills across all sites.

  • Drive continuous improvement through data, feedback, and industry best practices.

  • Oversee and manage the annual safety budget.
