Kelly has an excellent opportunity in Kansas City, MO for a Senior Sales Analyst – Consumer Packaged Goods to join one of the fastest growing CPG producers in the USA.  This is a Direct Hire in-office position with a starting salary of $90,000 - $110,000, a bonus program, and an excellent benefits package.  As Sales Analyst, you will support a US Sales Division with expert analytics for both internal and external customers.  The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of business analyst experience and high-level skills in analyzing and disseminating large amounts of data.  Expertise in Power BO and SQL is critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•    Compile and analyze data to identify sales trends and/or opportunities and develop it into actionable tools that will drive the sales and distribution of company brands
•    Support selling efforts by processing and analyzing data and publishing it to appropriate internal and external customers for the purpose of strengthening our competitive position in the market
•    Create and maintain sales performance dashboards to be published on existing customer portals
•    Evaluate third party data to gain market insights and report as appropriate to sales management
•    Evaluate new data sources to broaden sales awareness of market conditions and secure as needed
•    Track, measure, and report KPIs for strategic sales initiatives
•    Monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends
•    Act as a liaison between business and IT to enhance existing company databases

Skills and Requirements:

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field of study required.      
•    5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity required.  CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) experience is a big plus!
•    Strong ability to analyze and disseminate large amounts of data
•    High-level Power BI skills are required.  Experience with SSAS, Visual Studios, Tabular Models, etc highly preferred.  Tableau experience is a big plus!
•    Working knowledge of data mining principles, predictive analytics, mapping, and collecting data from multiple systems
